Dana graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Art History. She is most passionate about food and helping her patients achieve optimal health and nutrition through lifestyle changes. She previously worked for four years as a regional vice president with the Schumacher Group staffing emergency departments across 19 hospitals and 9 states across the US. She joined forces with Dr. Knight to open her medical practice in January 2014 to provide a more hands-on approach to health care. She graduated IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition), then proceeded to gain an advanced certification as a functional medicine certified health coach from FMCA (Functional Medicine Coach Academy). She recently completed her master’s degree in clinical nutrition from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and Nutrition in order to provide her patients with the best and most cutting edge nutritional guidance.
